Svensk Jazz is the largest jazz network in Sweden. The federation was founded in 1949 and works to promote and strengthen jazz in Sweden.
Svensk Jazz (Swedish Jazz Federation) is a non-profit organization connecting clubs, musicians, festivals, record labels and others in the Swedish, Nordic and international jazz community. Sweden is home to approximately one hundred jazz clubs, of which the majority is run on a non-profit base and does not own their own venue. We have a lot of professional jazz musicians who are active on the international jazz scene. Svensk Jazz members also include interest organizations, producers and the world’s oldest jazz magazine Tidningen Jazz.

On the map you can see all promoters that are members of the federation and their location in the country.
Svensk Jazz is a member of the Europe Jazz Network and is part of the Swedish delegation at jazzahead! that Export Music Sweden organizes. Together with JazzDanmark, Norsk jazzforum, Finnish Jazz Federation and Iceland Jazz we are part of the long-term nordic collaboration Nordic Jazz Comets – a showcase platform for nordic jazz groups as well as a network for promotors in the nordic countries.
Our website is only available in Swedish. If you’re planning to visit Sweden and want to check out upcoming concerts you can find our promoters concerts in the concert calendar.
Releases from independent Swedish record labels are found on our album page.
