Below there are useful tools for you who organize concerts or other events.
Arrangörshandboken (Arranger's guide)
This is a guide with tips and advice to anyone that wants to arrange live music - concerts, clubs, festivals etc. It is aimed at all ages, all genres and all levels; beginners as well as experienced organizers who want to develop parts of - or all - their organizing. Read more on the manual's own website. (In Swedish only, sorry.)
Publiken i fokus (Audience in focus)
By focusing on audience development the concert arranger builds confidence in audiences, artists and co-organizers. In addition, you can reach new audiences. Together with RFoD (national association for folk music and dance) and Kulturens bildningsverksamhet we have developed a manual in public development for concert organizers.
Here you can find the manual (to download as pdf, opens in new window). In Swedish only.
Europe Jazz Balance - tutorials for arrangers
Europe Jazz Balance is a tutoring program that was developed in 2015 in cooperation with the Nordic jazz associations, Impra and Europe Jazz Network and European Commission.
The web-based tutoring program is designed for arrangers and other stakeholders. To reach a wide audience you need to offer a wide concert program. The program provides concrete tips on how to work to develop and create a more inclusive scene.
